I’m currently in my final year of studying Knitted Textile Design at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, University of Dundee.
After studying Art, Photography, and Sociology for my A Levels in 2018, I moved to Dundee to start an Art & Design Foundation Course. This led me to begin my Bachelors degree in Textile Design. Since then, I have specialised in knitwear and have gained experience working on Flat bed and Dubied knitting machines.
I love to design knitwear that explores a theme and carries a narrative. I think knowing the meaning behind why something has been made can open up conversation and in turn, encourage connection. This is something I would love to carry on exploring after I complete my degree.
In 2020, I set up a small business selling handmade gifts as well as taking on commissioned drawing work, which can be seen below.
I am currently seeking graduate role opportunities (starting 2022) in Textile Design.
